Shortly after his appointment as the international president of FFWPU, President Yong-cheon Song visits Europe as his first stop on the World Tour. Here is how it went!
We have just come to the end of the new FFWPU International President’s Tour of Europe. Dr. Yong-cheon Song and his team visited Tirana, Albania, Camberg, Germany and London, England. At all locations throughout the tour, President Song and IAYSP President Koji Matsuda did their very best to convey True Mother’s message of love and encouragement for all European members.
On each occasion, Dr. Song began by reminding us that good dreams dreamed by righteous people who love God will always come true. Here in Europe we have overcome many seemingly insuperable barriers, lifting unjust travel restrictions, retaining and expanding our legal and formal presence by registering FFWPU in many countries, and by welcoming True Mother before tens of thousands of people in Vienna and Tirana. We have built the Peace Embassy in Albania supported by our donations, we have expanded the Peace Road project, and one by one God, the Heavenly Parent, has granted all our smaller wishes. Surely He will do so again, returning peace to Europe although the present situation seems so difficult when seen only with human eyes.
Another exciting development is the announcement of the 2023 Summer Hyojeong Pilgrimage to Korea, a 21-day trip from from August 14th to September 3rd that will include a spiritual retreat at the HJ Cheonwon, visits to some key holy and historic sites, meetings with youth and young adults from Korea and Japan, and more. The pilgrimage is open to wide range of ages from 16 to 39 and spaces are filling up fast. For more details, click HERE.
The London leg of the tour was very memorable. Although Dr. Song lived in the UK for more than 8 years during his previous appointment as Regional President, it the first time for two of his team to visit our country. So we took a long and memorable walk in Kensington Gardens (where True Parents loved to walk.) In the afternoon we organized a reception for about 10-15 of our closest Ambassadors for Peace.
